At Aero Trader, Chino, California, significant progres has been made forward Kermit Weeks' Douglas A-26C Invader. As readers know, this machine received heavy damage during Hurricane Andrew. "The plane is now forward its gear and we are in the proces of installing many of the interior constituents which had been restored previously," states Carl Scholl When complet this will be the solely flying Invader to feature all its original equipment in operating condition. A fresh addition at Aero Trader is a Ryan PT-2 2 operated by the agency of the 3rd Pursuit Group of the Commemorative Air Force based at nearby Cable Claremont Airport. The plane had been damaged in a forced landing and was give in exchangeed to Aero Trader for rebuild.
