The crash occurr shortly after 5 pm Witnesses told authorities that the plane appeared to be doing aerobatics when the engine appeared to quit. Mike Clifton, Wabash rural parts Emergency Management Agency public information officer, said pair farmers saw the plane crash about 5:10 pm Debris from the crash was scattered about 25 to 30 yards from the main portion of the aircraft. Jim Shuttleworth was well-known in the Warbird community and operated a small museum at the nearby Huntington Airport as well as running a multi-national corporation.
