BOBBI TROUT The last surviving pilot from the first Women's Transcontinental Air Derby in 1929 (which shortly became known as the Power whiff Derby), Trout was a well-known pilot during the 1920 and 1930 In November 1929 Trout and Elinor Smith plant an inflight refueling endurance record of 42-hr 5-min uniform though engine problems cut the flight short. M Trout passed away, age 97 forward 24 January at Carlsbad, California.
