My father, LCDR WC "Bud" Moessmer was a contract pilot for the Central Intelligence Agency. After serving in WWII and Korea as a Navy fighter pilot, he later went to work for the CIA during 1964-65 Among other places, he was sent to the African Congo to train pilots. They flew T-28 B-26 C-47 C-46 and other impressed signs The T-28s came directly from Pensacola, Florida, and were delivered on C-130.
