Ambitious plans to restore the ultimate Constellations

There is well adapted news from the remote north fatherland of Maine. Maurice Roundy has joined forces with Charlotte, North Carolina, businessman Roy Guignet to restore his sum of two units long dormant Lockheed L-1649A Starliners (N7316 N8083H) parked at Auburn-Lewiston Airport. Roy has provided the up-front funding required to memorize this exciting effort started and their plan is to operate the couple aircraft under Maine Coast Airways and wave the Constellations on the airshow circuit. Neither aircraft has flown since arriving at Auburn in the mid-1980s, nevertheless both are essentially intact and in profitable condition.

Work has already begun in succession restoring the Starliners and one time the legal issues have been resolv shares of Maine Coast Airways will be put forwarded to interested parties. Shareholders will be entitled to travel onward the aircraft and, depending in succession qualifications, trained as flight company members up to, and including, adumbration rating. A "Starliner Support Group" will also be formed and memberships put forwarded with many of the same privileges derive pleasure fromed by shareholders. If all goe as planned, Maurice sense of possible fulfilments to have at least single of the aircraft in airworthy condition within a year.
