Your series forward Lockheed's "Shining Stars" was extremely interesting and informative. In it, Michael O'Leary mentioned that the introduction of the Beech 18 and DC-2/-3 attended to squelch the success of the Lockheed 10/12 The mention of the Twin Beech reminded me of that symbol of aircraft that photograph. in succession the other side of the side road is a herculean bright pink sign advertising the Angel's Ladies Brothel.

The story that I was told was that the Beech was being used as an executive aircraft and was returning with several minor executives when they decided to stop at Angel's Ladies for a little entertainment. Apparently there was a landing strip along the highway. All was gratification until they were departing and the Beech ground-- linked on takeoff.

I don't know just by what mode long ago this happened further the aircraft was abandoned where it came to peace The strip is now completely overgrown The right wing is crumpl and the engines are gone and interior gutt I have no idea who acknowledges the plane but it appear to bes a shame that what's left is returning to nature.
